The Honda CBR650R is a mid-range sports bike compatible with an A2 license that replaces the CBR650F. It is powered by a 649 cc inline four-cylinder engine with liquid cooling that generates 93.9 horsepower at 12,000 rpm and maximum torque at 8,500 rpm.

Features include the following:

Dual 310 mm discs in the front with four-piston Nissin calipers
240 mm rear disc with a single-piston Nissin caliper

41 mm Showa SFF inverted fork with seven-position preload and 120 mm travel
Rear shock with 10 adjustable pre-load levels and 44 mm travel

Six-speed transmission with a gear position indicator
Honda has updated their successful CBR650F sports bike with a small evolution into the CBR650R by adding a color LCD dash, increasing power slightly higher up the range, and reducing the weight by 4 kilograms. It is also available as a naked bike with a touch of retro styling, the CB650R, which is sure to sell well.

They have also shrunk the fuel tank by nearly 2 litres, made the riding position slightly more aggressive by lowering the handlebars, upgraded to an upside-down Separate Function Fork (SFF), upgraded the brakes, moved to non-wavy discs, added a slip/assist clutch, and added a new wheel design. There is also a clever emergency stop system that flashes the hazards. Front and rear Dunlop Sportmax 120/70 and 180/55 tires fit on the 17″ 10-spoke wheels.

Accessories include an up-only quickshifter, heated grips, a 12V socket, and a tall display.

Modification 1 - Tail Tidy for Honda CB650R '21- / CBR650R ’21-

The R&G Tail Tidy kit is simple to install and will drastically improve the appearance of the bike’s rear end by replacing the large (and often ugly!) OEM license plate holders with a much slimmer looking unit.

Modification 3 - Downpipe Grille Honda CBR650R

Not only should the radiator and oil coolers be protected. Downpipe grills protect not only the downpipes but also the front of the engine. Stones thrown up by the front wheel at high speeds can cause chips in the engine’s paintwork, leading to premature corrosion. Install a downpipe grill to keep your engine’s front chip free!
