Moto Guzzi is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer and the oldest continuous motorcycle manufacturer in Europe. 

The company was founded in 1921 in Mandello del Lario, Italy, and is known for its historic role in Italian motorcycle manufacturing, global prominence in motorcycle racing, and industry innovations such as the first motorcycle center stand, wind tunnel, and eight-cylinder engine.

Moto Guzzi has been a unico azionista, a wholly owned subsidiary, and one of seven brands owned by Piaggio & C. SpA, since 2004.

 By unit sales, Europe’s largest motorcycle manufacturer and the world’s fourth largest motorcycle manufacturer.

The company’s motorcycles are distinguished by air-cooled 90° V-twin engines with longitudinal crankshaft orientation and transverse cylinder heads that protrude prominently on either side of the motorcycle.
